One of the seven gates of heaven according to Islam. The gate is for people who fast during Ramadan.

Hence, reyyan is an Arabic word and it can be use as a girl's name in muslim countries. Also, in Ottoman language "reyyan" means that " a person who satisfied with water, someone who had enough water"

In classical Turkish Literature, reyyan means that "someone who is drunk with the wine of (spiritual) love"

Reyyan refused to believe that she is happy to see him today but, the cat did not miss the look in her face.
