What is Rhedoric?

the art of using language to make poorly read individuals feel superior. Often applied to pursuade poorly informed persons to support agendas that are not in their own best interest. Brought to an artistic level by Rush Limbaugh.

An example of rhedoric: "Over the years, Conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass".
