Richards are a group of people male or female who go to poncy jazz bars and swanky bars where they only serve import beers or bottles at double the price of a regular pub and the music is usually really bad Jazz or electro jazz. Men often seen wearing scarves indoors with waistcoats. Often seen in starbucks with a copy of the times or the guardian or reading a book and the women more of the same usually with the Richards because they have money and stability. Basically a ponce.
