What is Ringtone Rock?

Rock music that is overplayed and over saturated that you pretty much want to plug your ears when you hear one of these songs. They are very annoying and are usually heard as ringtones on a person cell phone, at stadium sporting events, and of course, in a mid life crisis guy pickup truck.
