What is Rlds?

/acronym/ -- Reformed Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Splinter group formed after the leadership of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) was forced to eliminate PolyGamy as church doctrine. Federal forces were threatened to be used to force a new state constitution if the Church Leaders declined to abolish PolyGamy in the Utah Territories. RLDS members continue to practice PolyGamy in defiance of federally mandated bigamylaws.

John is a member of the Reformed Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS).
