Rock Chopper Edit Meaning

A term for a Catholic person because traditionally Catholics were poor and blue collar because of their ethnicity (even applies today although they are now usually only lacking in moral fiber, not finance). 'Chopping Rocks' labour was one of the few jobs these people could hold thus the term evolved into a word for anyone Catholic.

Man - "There goes one of those Rock Choppers saving money away to buy potatoes for his huge family of orange haired children"

Woman - "Well good on him for doing that!"

Man - "They're as bad as the jews. They are only building their numbers to eventually overthrow real people and spread their ways."

Woman - "True...what scum!"
