A deadening sphere of energy that slowly drains all life, joy, and happiness from those who enter it. Combined with its nearly overwhelming gravitational field, a romnet can catch an object for decades before it finally breaks free, though in the end it leaves all living things tired, angry, bitter, and enervated.
Named for the mythical 10th planet of the solar system, a realm utterly hostile to all forms of intelligent life.
As Gerald slipped into the romnet, we knew that he was lost to us forever. Shooting him the head before he spent more than 20 hours a week there was the last, kindest thing we could do.
