A time when sombody is trying to make a point with a historical reference and dosn't know anything about that historical event.
Prime example of Ron Paul Moment:
Ron Paul Fan: DUDE! the civil war didn't need to be fought, we could have just bought all the slaves!
Educated Person: Sorry, the civil war wasn't started over slavery, it was about states rights. Furthermore, it was the south that fired the first shot. fuck you.
