Came from the phrase "I'd draw her", made popular by the AfterEllen vlog "We're Getting Nowhere" starring Jill Bennett, Karman Kregloe, and Dara Nai. Based on the idea that "South of Nowhere" characters Spencer and her artistic girlfriend Carmen were not sleeping together when found in bed together, Carmen was drawing/sketching Spencer.
