Xristmas (the “X” is pronounced like the “Ch” in Chutzpah , but not like the “ch” in cheese). – What many people with Jewish heritage celebrate in the USA on Dec. 25th.
The Steinbergs decorated their Xristmas tree with white and blue Hannukah lights.
When my grandmother arrived in this country, she thought that Xcristmas was a nice pagan American family holiday – celebrating it was fun and you’d fit right in with everybody else.
