A Safetycrat is a government bureaucrat believing it is their job to protect the citizens from themselves.
Pretentiously thinking they possess superior insight to the rest of the population and therefore know what is best for them.
Often citing public burden as justification for Draconian rule making.
The motto of the Safetycrat:
Screw that freedom thing... it's over rated. We know everything about everything and they must obey us.
That Safetycrat actually believes helmets work.
