Any person whose fandom for a certain thing takes the form of a constant irritating sales pitch for those unfamiliar with or not already into said thing.
"I was in a CD store, trying to get my friend to buy this folk-rock record, when some Emo 'salesfan' overheard us and butted in, trying to tell us that rock was dead and how if we REALLY wanted to hear good music, we'd check out the ________ band."
