What is Sannin?

Refers to three people; when counting people in Japanese, one starts with hitori (one person), futari (two people), and then sannin (meaning three people).

The legendary sannin, or the legendary three, shinobi of Konohaare Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru.
