The people of Sarajevo are known as “Sarayliyas” (spelled Sarajlije in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian).

Bosnians from outside Sarajevo are thought to have the sense that Sarajevo receives too much attention, but this is more of a sibling rivalry than an actual dislike for Sarajevo and its people.
