What is Sasr?

Special Air Service Regiment. Australia's first full counter terrorism and spec. ops fighting force. SASR is usually backed up by the 4RAR (4th battalion, Royal Australian Regiment)
it is the australian version of the green beret's, or the american rangers.
SASR is the highest accomplishment an australian soldier can achieve while still out in the field.
