adjective: Portmanteau of "(to) scale" and "realistic"

A term used in scale modelling and RC modelling to descibe a functioning model that is highly detailed in order to look as real as possible, but at a smaller scale. This usually involves paint themes that mimic full scale Example of scalistic models are Radio Control crawlers (scale rigs), drift cars, and of course most Concours show cars.
