What is Scene Cred?

To have status in the "scene", which is the desirable aspect to a certain group in society. Usually kids at shows and people who are constantly downtown or in a park. Certain pants, shoes and haircuts can be considered scene.
"Are you going to the show tonight?, it'll give you some mad scene cred"
