What is Schwarzschild?

Karl Schwarzschild (October 9, 1873 - May 11, 1916) was a German-Jewish physicist and astronomer. He is best known as the one who found the first solution of the Einsteinequations and with that delivering the first description of classical black holes.

Non-rotating black holes are called "Schwarzschild black holes" or simply "Schwarzschild holes"
