What is Scortchycle?

An event consisting of a gathering of men who are brought together for the express purpose of drinking scotch on the porch, and who have utilized a bicycle as the sole means of transportation to or from the event. Commonly, the host of the event is unable to leave the premises due to a parental obligation to the sleeping infant(s) within the home.
As his wife was away on business, Mike invited some friends to a scortchycle at his home, rather than rouse the children from their beds.
