An acronym which stands for "Slams Elbow Down, Hand Extended." The elbow is placed forcefully on a tabletop or other surface at a thirty-five degree angle or greater, and the forearm is extended at an angle of no greater than thirty-five degrees with the hand pointing forward, parallel with the tabletop. A SEDHE is used in conversation or debate to emphasize a point or to direct conversation to a particular person.
