The meaning is quite controversial. Probably the root "sgal-" comes from the ancestral Bolognese and means be rude but with class.
Then we can (with a 95% percent of confidence) state that this word indicate people just a little crazy but defenitly likeable
Vorrei però che Giuly e Dody non ci fossero : fanno troppo le sgaligie! (e sono il tipico esempio di sgaligio)
