Arguably the greatest rock album ever, it changed music forever. Taking 129 days to record only 13 tracks. Released in June 1967. It won numerous Grammy's that year including album of the year. Paul McCartney wrote most of the songs on the album. The hits include 'Sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band', 'With a little help from my friends', 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' or 'A day in the life'. But really all 13 tracks are excellent.

Turn Sgt. Pepper's up!!! I love this wack crap.

3.

The greatest rock n roll album ever made.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the greatest rock album you'll ever hear...besides The Beatles' Revolver.

4.

The best album ever made, by the Beatles. The cover has over 70 people on it, and it itself contains 13 tracks, including Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Lovely Rita, and A Day In The Life. It topped the Rolling Stone's list of top 500 albums, and is by far the band's best album, selling millions of copies.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the best. Album. Ever. Period.

5.

Released in 1967 this is The Beatles eighth studio album. It is possibly the most overrated record ever made. Not as good as Magical Mystery Tour released later the same year and not as important (or as good) as Revolver released a year earlier.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is a very good record none the less, maybe even great, but it aint Mozart.

Usually name checked by people who know little about music and even less about The Beatles.

John:"Let's go back to the flat and listen to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."

Paul: "Let's go back to the flat but let's listen to Revolver"
