Unwanted spirit. A soul that has no significance or importance on earth. A nuisance. A bad spirit, not necessarily evil, only blank. "A ghost with no (known) target. Origin: mixture of araibic/urdu/persian

Not to be confused with shahman

(Used in another language) He is only a "shahmeen" flaoting in this world with no rhyme nor reason.
