Shankar's Virus (also known as W97M.Marker.o) is a Polymorphic Computer Virus that infects Microsoft Word documents and templates. It was discovered June 3 1999. It is believed to have been brought into existence by a programmer named Sam Rogers who used Microsoft Word to create the program. The Virus effects word documents in several bizzare ways including birthday messages.
