A way of offering someone a drink, be it sherry or not. Also just a term used to verify that you are up for something.
It is impossible and dishonourable to refuse someone who says "Sherry?" or reply with any term other than "Sherry."
Used in Scotland, especially in the Ghetto of Grampian, Glasgow as an alternative for the common term "AYE!"
Gina motions towards the big bottle of Robinsons, Vodka, Wine, Merrydown, etc.
Gina - "Sherry?"
Stina - "Sherry."
