What is Shire Village Camp?

A small summer camp of young hippies/ treehuggers/ flowerchildren/ long-hairs/ free spirits in Cummington, MA ranging from the ages of 9-16. The camp is famous for producing creative, marijuana-using, over-sexed, liberals who stay in the camp for as long as humanly possible.
It's name derives from a small town ('The Shire') inhabited by fictional creatures called 'Hobbits' created by the author J.R.R. Tolkien in his popular series The Lord of The Rings.
