A lavatory. Can be used in either a literal or metaphoric sense.
"I need a dump, where's the shitpan?"
"This company's going down the shitpan."
2.
A word to describe somebody who shits all over a toilet, i.e. round the rim and all over the seat with chunks of runny shit.
