What is Shitstove?

A generic insult, derived from the unpleasant arrangement of a heated stove full of human feces.
One of many, often created on-the-fly insults from combining two or more words. These are sometimes called 'mix-and-match' insults and almost always include a pronfanity such as
I know John was being a fucking
clownboat but Steve was just being a real shitstove.
