The act of networking meaninglessly using tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc. where no real benefit of association is expected or experienced.
I got three requests to join someone's Network on LinkedIn today. Total shitworking. I've only talked to one guy at a conference once six months ago. He must be looking for a job and doing some shitworking to build up his Rolodex.
