What is Shmilt?

The feeling of shame and guilt which is felt when awaking after a night of drinking, regardless of how good or bad the previous night's transgressions were. Shmilt can also be experienced after a unforgiveable action due to a serious lapse in judgement.
1. I woke up hungover and feeling severely shmilty, even though everyone had a good time.
2. The shmilt I felt the next day was undeniable after making out with my step-mom during christmas dinner.
