What is Show Kid?

1-n. A teenager or student inexplicably driven to perform, create, or obsess over musical shows. Often found in small herds within the confines of high schools, they feed off of broadway music, gossip, and applause.
To no one's surprise, the show kids managed to turn the entire English class into song.
