What is Siddons?

An uptight, usually condescending person. Often can be overally critical and pretentious in conversation with others. Tastes are based around what makes them appear smarter, so that they have grounds to mock your interests.
"We were going to go to the mall last night but Rob was being a Siddons and kept complaining."
