The time when somebody has just gotten The Sims and obsessively plays it for days on end.
Severe cases include people walking around trying to speak like their Sims.
Person 1: Where is Jenny?
Person 2: Oh, she has been up in her room all week. She has a pretty bad case of Simitus.
