An unorthodox flirting technique, whereby the flirter sits very close to the flirtee, but then proceeds to ignore his subject matter and talk to his mates instead. Named after the pioneer of this method. Possibly the male equivalent of 'playing hard to get'.
"Oh yeah, he did a Skeggs last night; didn't say a word to her all evening"
