What is Slaptar?

Playing a guitar while slapping the side, back, and/or front of the guitar to make a rhythmic drumming sound as well as your original guitar sound.
"Dude, did you see that kid playing slaptar by the bus station?"
"I'm tired of playing guitar, it's no longer challenging. I should start learning to slap my guitar as well. I'll learn to slaptar!"
