The "Employee Term" for Safeway. Created because the employees are overworked, and generally treated like crap by the (aimlessly wandering) managers, and by the snotty customers that seem to accumulate in the stores.

Slaveway is second to Hell

Term used by almost all ex Saveway employees who tell their friends and family how horrible Saveway really was.

The honest truth is managers and supervisors at Saveway treat their employees like slaves.

The definition can also be used to describe bad Saveway coworkers too.

I hated working at Slaveway, especially with Lynn, the coworker bitch.
