The "Smothered Sock" is a variation of the pink sock obviously thought up by a cook or sous chef or a gay disgruntled Friday's bartender. You simply perform the pink
sock and then lay a slice of american cheese over the
"sock" Body heat will eventually melt the cheese
resulting in the "Smothered Sock"
