What is Smurl?

A Smurl is when there is a whisp of smoke curling up from a cigarette or some other thing that is on fire. As it twists and turns and curls it becomes a 'Smurl'
Also anything that twists and turns like smoke in a curl.
Eg 'the long and smurling road' or
'Look at that smurl it looks like a big mushroom'
