In Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games(i.e. Everquest, World of Warcraft), the act of trying to glom on to a more experienced and/or skilled guild or group of players in order to obtain a rare or difficult to get in-game item -- thus furthering the advancement of one's owm character.
" A month or so ago, I contacted Gorgolax when she was on her way to Molten Core. I waved to her, and we started up a great whisper conversation. I asked her if I could possibly sneak the leaf from Molten Coreif nobody needed it."
