What is Snær?

Norwegian for "sånn der" or "like (that)" à l'anglais, mostly when you're really uncertain of what to say. Mostly used by teenage girls in the northern part of Norway.

Also referred to as the Norwegian synonym of the American "like".

"Han er snær... søt, da." ("He's like... cute.") - some northern-Norwegian girl talking about her having a crush on any boy who likes World of Warcraft and modelling abstract 3D in Maya.
