Sociocide can be defined as any act of a person or persons which adversely impacts upon a society or culture to a negative degree. Generally determined to be a direct result of a lack of proper, responsible parental guidance during formative years, sociocide is akin to genocideenacted against a race or ethnic culture, save that sociocide is any act which adversely impacts any given societal culture, regardless of span or ethnic divide.

The murdering of a seventeen year old youth by two indigenous fifteen year old children because "this is how we roll in this town" is clearly a dereliction of parental responsibility, therefore sociocide
