Sotul is defined as: Shedding of the Uterine lining.
A more polite way to refer to a woman having her period. Instead of "she's on the rag" or "it's that time of the month, Sotul let's you know she is out of commision for a few days! Fortunately, her mouth is still in working order.
I found the tampon box on the counter this morning. Instead of Aunt Flo is visiting, I prefer to say it is SOTUL time.
