Best known as the home of the South Glens Falls High School Marathon Dance, where most of the students dance for almost 30 hours each March to raise money for local individuals and organizations, and have in fact raised more than $1,000,000 over the course of 30 years. South High has roughly 1075 students, and is also renowned for its blue passcards, crazy teachers, Gibby, flooded parking lot, crunchy chicken wrap, ICPthreats, overcrowdedness, and smoke-filled bathrooms. The town is tiny, infested with sex-offenders (who generally congregate around the Clearview Motel), has way too many ice cream shops, and has absolutely nowhere to shop.
