What is Spacebucks?

A generic term for any virtual currency required to purchase online content through a videogame console, often designed with intentionally confusing exchange rates from the local currency.
The term originates from the 1980's cult-classic Spaceballs. First public use of this definition was by Crispin Boyer on Episode 83 of gaming
"Yea, Pacman CE is a little pricey at 800
Spacebucks , I could rent Black Snake Moan in HD for half that."
