A derogotory term for mafia-wannabes of Italian decent. Referring to the invasion of southern Italy by the non-white muslim Moors in the late 1400's, it plays on the Moors' genetic influence on the conquested Italian population. Ironically, making these proud, anti-black Italian-Americans just a few steps removed from being black themselves.
