What is Spamkrieg?

A play on the German attack strategy blitzkrieg("lightning war"), it is the launching of a massive spam attack on an account. Can also be used to describe the aftermath of receiving an unusually large volume of spam in a short amount of time, thus making you feel as if your account is under full-on stunning assault.

My Myspace got hit with a spamkrieg! I had 70 new friend requests in one hour-- all from hot chicks offering me free mp3 downloads and ringtones.
