2. A state of being where ones needs for attention and affection are sustained through the false and intangible engagement of users on a message board via an online e-persona.
3. A description of a person who gets so emotionally enthralled by message boards conversation that they use CAPS, and frequently misspell simple words like special.
When a nutjob, middle-aged, jaded wife of a vacant spousal figure tries to make herself the leading lady in a never-ending message board drama she is truly a specail women.
