Spirit bears, also known as a kermodebears, are members of a rare genetic subspecies of black bear. The spirit bear is the official animal of British Columbia. Spirit bears are only found on the mainland in the rainforest near Terrace and on the islands of Haida Gwaii.

Spirit Bears are very beautiful, with their ghostly white fur.
