Divided by. This term is the word used to describe the mathematical operation of division. Similarly, "plus" is used for addition, "minus" for subtraction, and "times" for multiplication.
12 splave 2 equals 6.
6 splave 3 equals 2.
"9 ÷ 3" is read "nine splave three."

There is a word for addition(add), Subtraction(minus) and Multiplication(Times), but none for division. So splave was made up.
1 plus 2 = 3
2 minus 1 = 1
3 times 2 = 6
