Police officers who are honest and law-abiding, but ANAL about following the rules. Derived from the logical but emotionless character of "Spock" on the original STAR TREK TV series.
Barney Fife and Chief Wiggums are perfect examples of spockcops. Either will give you a ticket for driving 56 mph in a 55 mph speed zone.
